Greetings to all from Liturgy Brisbane.
This issue of Lited is about the Christian Initiation of adults and older children, and the ways in which enquirers can be welcomed into the
parish community's life of faith.
The articles in this issue offer a range of ‘action suggestions’ for engaging in invitation, evangelisation, welcome and incorporation
even at times of year when formal RCIA groups are not running. It is as simple as connecting the enquirer to a parishioner who invites them for coffee, connects them to activities within the parish community, accompanies them to Mass and introduces them to others.
The articles also explore the role of ministry groups and the RCIA team, the stages of the RCIA, and the ways in which a vibrant RCIA process can transform a parish.
Finally, this issue offers some valuable observations and advice about initiating older children (and their families) into the life of the Church.
We hope you enjoy this edition of LITed.
Blessings and very best wishes from all of us.
