Lenten ProgramEvagelisation Brisbane are delighted that Fr John Chalmers has written and presented the Gospel reflections for Compassion, the 2019 Lenten resource. Fr John is Director of Mission and Formation Centacare Brisbane. He has extensive experience in parish ministry, hospital chaplaincy, teaching at a number of universities for over 20 years and giving presentations across Australia. Sophy Morley (Coordinator, Liturgy and Pastoral Ministry – Diocese of Sale) has written the beautiful opening and closing prayers. In the production of the resource, six people were asked these questions: ‘How have you experienced compassion? How have you been compassionate to others?’ Their stories, ‘Lives of Compassion’, are on the DVD and CDs.
